Recently I was talking with students at a career event for a local high school where I was asked questions about what Outridge Enterprises does? The answer is we are a strong media brand. This has been a tough question over the years especially early on in our business. When you have three businesses it can be hard to tell people what we do in a short sentence. For years I have been told by the networking gurus that you have to get the system down to one thing. I have never enjoyed doing one thing and until the pandemic had been grilled about it. Since the pandemic people have turned around realizing diversity is a good option.
We didn’t design the business so much that way, it is just the business opportunities arrived at different times and the best way to structure them was to tie them all together under one corporation.
It has only been in the last ten years that we have found our focus and realized media is where we stand. If looking for print illustration and design then Bruce Outridge Productions was our division that handled that. After all we started in logo design and book production. We now focus more on corporate and wedding entertainment.
Outridge Consulting Division started because I had a background in the trucking industry and wanted to share that knowledge. Over the years this has grown into podcasts, television, speaking, books, and radio production.
Outridge Translation Services was the last division started, but had previously been Burlington Translation Services a French English translation service operated by Carmen Outridge. After we married we decided to rebrand it as Outridge Translation Services.
In a nutshell we are one strong media business operating in Ontario Canada. Each of our divisions have their own websites, services, and brands so please visit them directly.
